In November 2001 Isabel Beyer and Harvey Dagul celebrated 50 years of delighting audiences worldwide with their piano duet playing.
They have shown that four hands at one piano is a highly entertaining and approachable medium, and Isabel and Harvey are intimate with the huge wealth of music from the well-known and loved to the unfamiliar and neglected; indeed, they have introduced to modern audiences many pieces from the 18th, 19th and 20th Centuries which have remained unplayed since the period of their composition. These include sonatas for piano duet by Czerny, Moscheles, Ries, Hummel, Rheinberger, Rubinstein, Benda and others. Their critically acclaimed performances have charmed appreciative audiences, and their light-hearted, informative introductions are cherished by all who hear them.
